MEXA successfully launched the Capacity Building Project to support the growth of the Medical Devices Sector in February this year.

Indeed, after 2 years of collaboration with the Medical Devices’ companies (Natec Medical Ltd. FCI Sud Ltd and Lilmo Ltd), Université des Mascareignes (UDM) and the HRDC, MEXA launched the Phase 1 of the above-mentioned project.

It is worth highlighting that this joint project is intended to upskill 15 employees of the medical devices’ companies.

This project is being partly funded by the HRDC under the Sectoral Skills Development Scheme (SSDS) and partly by the 3 medical devices’ companies themselves.

At the level of MEXA, we will continue to support the export growth of the medical devices sector by building up its human resources assets. In this regard, we will launch the Phase II – Capacity Building Project in mid 2022.
